Our programs offer our graduates the opportunity to work with Yonevas Company and its affiliated institutions local and international. All applications can be submitted via online application system, or as a printed document. If you are submitting printed documents, make sure all documents are arranged in their right order and complete, send it to our administrative office address in Lagos , or visit in person and use the drop off box . There is internet access in our admin office and computer systems for those who do not have have to online application

Requirements for Online Students

Chromebooks are not compatible with some testing features within Zlasic (our Learning Management System). Yonevas Open University recommends not to use Chromebooks for classes.

Internet with a minimum speed of 1.5Mbps. You can test your local internet speed to Run this test from the location you will be learning from.

Higher bandwidth and speed will greatly assist you in your online learning environment, so where possible, a faster internet speed is recommended. Cable internet tend to be faster than DSL or 4G wireless, although DSL or 4G wireless may also work depending on other factors. Your computer, other software (such as anti spyware), other users on the system, and system configurations can all influence your ultimate line speed. Many instructors use videos as a part of their instruction, as well as synchronous meeting times (Skype, Adobe Connect, etc). Having an acceptable internet connection speed will be important to your success.

Admissions Requirements

Yonevas Open University (YOU) welcomes applicants 18 years old and older for admission consideration. We seek future graduates with diverse interests, experiences and perspectives, ready to capture academic opportunities with creativity and enthusiasm.

Although YOU seeks to integrate all faith and practice into all aspects of campus life, no statement of faith or religious affiliation is required of prospective students.

All students must submit either acceptable high school or college transcripts to be considered for full admission into the University. If students cannot meet the GPA requirements with their transcripts but have RAck’Up -GPA(2.5 minimum) that meets admission requirements, students may be eligible for full admission.

Applicants who seek opportunity into Yonevas Open University are eligible for admission upon meeting the following minimum requirements:

Bachelor Degree/Undergraduate

  • Original Waec or Neco certificate
  • Online/computer print of waec with scratch card attached ( if main certificate is not released by office waec office )
  • Transcript from previous university
  • Jamb result ( if Applicable to your course )
  • Two passport styled photo
  • Valid form of identification, such as: international passport, Voter’s Card, NIN, etc…
  • Birth Certificate or Local government ID
  • Letter of Sponsorship
  • Statement of purpose
  • Official Application completed either Online or printed document

The above is required during registration , all students are required to provide them in order to be considered a fully registered student.

Please note: Admission requirements may differ based on degree level, program and modality. All academically qualified individuals willing to uphold our established mission and standards are encouraged to apply.

Testing Center

Yonevas Open University provides two testing services for prospective and current students as well as for members of the community.

  • Admin Office: Office address in Lagos
  • Virtual Testing: Online Testing powered by Zlasic

Every test is valid for six months , and is accepted during each enrollment. Results is available 3 weeks after each test, therefor, We advise all test takers to take the exam at least 4 weeks before semester begins .You may visit the testing assistance platform to check schedules , we have testing centers in more than 22 states , check with admin office to verify test dates

Test Score Request Form

If you need to send your test scores to another Institution Submitting the Test Score Request Form provides the written request needed by the student. The form must be submitted to the testing center either by mail, or in person.

Training and Certificate Programs

How do I apply?

All applicants must read and make sure they understand the standards and structure of each enrollment before applying.

Our training and certificate program is a 10 months extensive learning through virtual class meetings with professors and classmates. there are 3 sessions included in this package where each session is scheduled for 12 to 13 weeks , 2 weeks break, and another 12 weeks, one week break and then the final 12 weeks.

  • Waec or Neco result, ( optional )
  • Minimum of 5 credits in secondary school result ( optional)
  • Statement of result or academic transcript ( optional )
  • Valid form of identification, such as: international passport, Voter’s Card, NIN, etc…
  • Birth Certificate or Local government ID
  • Letter of Sponsorship
  • Statement of purpose
  • Official Application completed either Online or printed document

What happens after application is complete?

A lot of applicants do not know how long it takes to process your application and when to expect their acceptance letter, we are delighted to inform you of our procedures

  1. First, as soon as we receive your application, we take it in consideration , students whose application are not complete due to lack of requirements are immediately inform by email to make provision for the needed documents
  2. Decisions are usually made within 2 weeks prior to receiving and reviewing the application. Once the application is acknowledged to be complete , it is forwarded to the department with respect to applicants choice of program of study.
  3. The department secures a spot for students and issues permission to produce acceptance letter to the student into the department.
